Great Harwood Rovers U8's Panthers vs Accrington Stanley Jnrs, at home, Sun 24th April 11.00 am ko.

Great Harwood came up against a very strong Accy Stanley team, with Harwood getting  few attacks in each half.  Thanks to some excellent defending from Jordan Edmondson and MOTM Brandon Blackmore, Accy only managed to score either side of the break  This was to be the U8's Panthers last game of what has been an excellent season, finishing 5th out of 16 teams is outstanding. Final score Great Harwood 0 Accy Stanley 2.  Motm Brandon Blackmore.

GT HARWOOD ROVERS U8'S PANTHERS - Sun 17th April  vs  BLUE STAR AWAY K.O. 10.30.

With players still missing through illness, Gt Harwood came up against a good Blue Star team , they threatend early on , but Gt Harwood,s defence stood firm, then Gt Harwood took full control of the game, 2 goals coming from KARL SUTTON (1 a pen). Second half Gt Harwood crushed Blue Star into submission getting 3 more goals , JACK HARGEAVES 2,and MOTM ARRON PHILLIPSON, Blue Star were lucky it stayed at 5, an exellent team performce.

GT HARWOOD ROVERS U8'S PANTHERS - at 16th April vs  LAMMOCK JNRS  AWAY 10.00 am  K.O.

Due to the Blackburn Rovers Semi-Final and illness Gt Harwood had only 6 players on the field, However a spirited performance so them go 1-0 up with a goal from KARL SUTTON,with which they took to half time.  The second half  Lammock used the extra man with good effect and proved to strong, the game finished 3-1 to Lammock. A gritty performance from the Gt Harwood boys, Well Done!

Great Harwood u8's Panthers vs Ossy Rangers  Sat 2nd April, Memorial Park, 11.00 am

Great Harwood started the first half very slowly but managed to get to half time 1-0 up thanks to an own goal.  The second half was a different story, Great Harwood were well on top.  A superb solo effort on the left wing from Arron Phillipson finishing in the top corner of the net 2-0, and great work on the right wing from motm Karl Sutton to make it 3-0.  The cross bar saved Ossy Rangers three times but the score remained the same.  Final score Great Harwood 3 Ossy Rangers 0. Great Harwood u8's Panthers vs Langho Jnrs.  Sunday 3rd April, Memorial Park, 11.00 am

Once again Great Harwood were slow starters, a couple of scares from Langho but the half time score remained at 0-0.  The second half Great Harwood came out of the blocks a lot faster.  The first goal came from a cracking free kick by right back, Ryan Mitchell.  The second was scored by motm Arron Phillipson with his tireless work down the left hand side.  The third and final goal came from a great cross on the left hand side and Bradley Allen hit it first time, great goal.  Final score Great Harwood 3 Langho Jnrs 0. Great Harwood Rover's Panthers Under 8's  Vs  Oswaldtwistle St Mary's  (home) 
Great Harwood Panthers pulled off one of the best wins of the season against top of the league Ossy St Marys, at Memorial Park Great Harwood.  It was a well deserved victory, with the only goal coming late on from Bradley Allen.  A cracking performance from goalkeeper Joshua Morris kept us in the game.

Also the under 8's in the afternoon went on to the Tsunami Tournament held at the JJB Soccerdome.  Winning all there games to secure their place in the final.  Then losing by a single goal to Mellor.

Great Harwood Panthers came up against a very strong defense in the final game of the season.  Langho scored either side of the break to put the game beyond Harwood.

GHR Panthers under 8's v Mellor blue. Memorial park 11.15.

The under 8's Panthers started the game very brightly when Mellor's keeper kicked the ball straight to Karl Sutton just over the half way line, he hit it first time right in the back of the net, more great work by K. Sutton on the right hand side, BANG! it was in the back of the net again 2 - 0. sloppy defending let Mellor score one back just before half time.
Second half we were relentless on pushed on to score 2 more goals game over.

U8's Panthers were away to LANGHO JNRS atark.
Under 8s Panthers
The first half was one way traffic for Gt Harwood but Langho broke once and scored  1 - 0, the second half was again an onslaught for Gt Harwood but still they couldn't score untill the last 5 minutes when MOTM Arron Phillipson nipped in with a scrappy goal to make it 1 - 1, Harwood then pushed for the win but ran out of time. U13's Panthers
were away to OSSY UTD in the 2nd round of the cup at wilsons playing fields. The first half Harwood started badly, they didn't deal with the set pieces and ossy scored 2 goals. The second half was more spirited and Harwood had one goal disallowed, ossy was always the stronger side, but to be fair to Gt Harwood they had 4 key players missing, the game was still pretty much even but ossy grabbed 2 more goals in the last 10 minutes to kill the game. The Panthers were away to HASLINGDEN JNRS BLUE at Witton Park.  Having gone 1 - 0 up in the first half with a Jack Hargreaves goal, they then went 1-2 down in the second half, very much against the run of play, rolling their sleeves up they muscled their way to a 3 - 2 lead with 2 good goals from MOTM Karl Sutton.   FINAL SCORE GT HARWOOD 3  HASLINGDEN JNRS BLUE 2

The Panthers were away to LAMMACK JNRS at Quegs playing fields, First half was very tight and gritty but Lammack went 2 goals in front until the last ten minutes Jonathan Heap scored 2 great goals to make it level.
