Saturday 8th April 06 Barrowford Celtic ( h ) cup
In wind rain and hailstone Harwood kicked off with the wind at there backs and had Barrowford under constant pressure right from the off, unfortunately Harwood couldn't get the goal they deserved and went in at half time 0-0. The 2nd got under way and Barrowford scored 2 early goals the Harwood lads gave there all trying to get back in the game but Barrowford scored 3 more to end up winning 5-0 in a scoreline that didn't give a true reflection of how the game went. This turned out to be are last game of the season in which all the team have been FANTASTIC. Well done boys
Wednesday 5th April 06 Huncoat Allstars ( h )
Harwood carried there form forward from the previous match and went into half time leading 2 nil with goals from Sam Jones and James Kenny, they went 3 nil up early in the 2nd half with another goal from Sam Jones to take his tally for the season to 13, Huncoat pulled a goal back late on but Harwood went on to win 3-1 with Corey Cook getting the motm for the 4th time in 5 games.
Monday 3rd April 06 Wilpshire Wanderers ( a )
The Great Harwood lads started very brighly and took an early lead through Sam Jones and never looked back, they scored another 2 before half time from James Kenny and another from Sam Jones. the 2nd half carried on in exactly the same vein and scored 2 more with James Kenny getting his 2nd of the night and 1 from motm Scott Sykes to cap a great perfomace from midfield, Harwood ending up 5-0 winners.

Mon 27 March 06  Clitheroe Wolves Red ( h )

In terrible conditions ( wind, rain, and a bog for a pitch, ) Gt Harwood played some excellent football and created chance after chance but couldn't convert them and Clitheroe went up the field to score with there only shot of the half. The 2nd half started exactly the same as the 1st with Harwood still creating the chance's but unable to take them, in one of Clitheroe's rare attacks they won a corner and after a mix up in defense the ball ended up in the net though an own goal to put Clitheroe 2 up, the Harwood lads didn't let there heads drop and they continued to push forward and got the goal they deserved though Scott Sykes but for all there efforts couldn't get the equalizer, the final score was Clitheroe winning 2-1 after only having 1 shot on goal with Corey Cook getting the motm award for the 3rd game running.

Sat 25 March 06   St Josephs  (a )

Gt Harwood got back to winning ways  against St Josephs with an excellent team performace, they started the match like they meant buisness and took an early lead through Tom Blackmore and never looked back running in 5 unanswered goals with another from Tom Blackmore, Corey Cook 1, james Kenny 1, Sam Jones 1, and Liam Devlin getting his 1st for the club to run out 6 nil winners, Corey Cook got the motm award for the 2nd game running.
Sat 18 March 06   Huncoat Allstars  ( a )
In very windy conditions with the wind blowing horizontal, Gt harwood were kicking into it in the 1st half and went in at half time 3 nil down, the 2nd half was a different story with Gt Harwood camped in the Huncoat half but for all there effort they just couldn't get a goal hitting the bar twice and the post twice and huncoat scored again to run out winning 4 nil, Corey Cook won the motm award from the ref.
Sat 11 March 06   Accrington Stanley ( h )
Great Harwood were well beaten by a strong Accrington side and  got beat 5-0,

Sat 18th Feb 06 Fulledge Colts (h)

In an excellent game of football with both sides playing some good football, Fulledge took the lead only for Harwood to equalize though Sam Jones, the 2nd half started exactly the same and Fulledge  took the lead again only for Sam Jones to equalize again, that was the end of the scoring and the game ended 2-2 but credit should go to both sides who played some excellent football which was a joy to watch, Ben Gorton won the motm award.
Sat 4th Feb 06 Rossendale Valley (h)
The Tigers beat bottom of the league Rossendale 9-0 with the goals coming from Tom Blackmore scoring for his 3rd game running getting a hat trick, Scott Sykes scoring 1, and Corey Cook scoring 5 for the 2nd time this season and also getting the motm award.

Sat 28th Jan 06 Clitheroe Wolves Blue (h)

Harwood put in a very dissapointing performace and were well beaten by a strong Clitheroe side going down 4-1 with Tom Blackmore scoring for the 2nd game running.

Sat 21st Jan 06  Barrowford Celtic (a)
In a very strange game of football the Tigers played some excellent football for the first 15 mins but for the last 5 mins of the half Barrowford had 3 attacks and scored 3 goals to go in at half time 3-0 up, the 2nd half was much the same and Harwood got a goal back through Tom Blackmore and continued to push forward trying to get another but Barrowford got another to end up winning the game 4-1, Ben Gorton getting the motm.

Sat 14th Jan 06 Huncoat Aces (h)
Harwood took the lead with a stunning goal from Sam Jones only for Huncoat to equalize late in the 2nd half and the game ending 1-1, credit to both sides who produced a very entertaining game.
Sat 7th Jan 06  Clitheroe Wolves Red (a)
In a very entertaining game the U9 Tigers won an hard fought Victory with a goal from Scott Sykes in the 2nd half, the defence was outstanding restricting the Clitheroe team to only 1 or 2 chances.
Sat 10th Dec 05  Fulledge Colts (a)
In very wet conditions the u9 started brightly but went 1 down in the 1st half, the 2nd half was much the same but Fulledge scored again Harwood got a goal back though James kenny, Harwood continued to press forward in search of an eqaulizer hitting the post and having one cleared of the line but couldn't get the goal they deserved and went down 2-1 with Ben Gorton getting the motm.

Rishton Utd (h) Sat 3rd December

Both teams started the game brightly and Rishton scored first though an own goal, Harwood came back strongly with the rishton goalie making 3 or 4 good saves but just before halt time harwood got the equalizer they deserved through an own goal. The 2nd half carried on in the same vain but neither team could get a winner and the game ended in a draw 1-1, both sides played some excellent football in very wet conditions with Sam Jones getting the motm.
Sat 29 Oct 05 Accy stanley (a)
The tigers went 1 down in the first 10 mins when they were still half asleep, once they had woken up they totally dominated the game but couldn't manage to get an equaliser and Stanley scored again with virtully the last kick of the game to win 2 nil.

Sat 22nd Oct 05  Wilpshire Wanderers (h)

The tigers started the game very well and had 1 or 2 chances to take the lead in the 1st half but the game remained goaless till half time,in the 2nd half the tigers played some excellent football and deservely took the lead with a well worked goal from James Kenny, they continued to dominate the game and got a 2nd goal through Corey cook who pounced on a sloppy goal kick and rifled the ball in the top corner to make the final score 2 nil, James Kenny won the motm award from the ref ,but the rest of the team deserve a pat on the back for a fantatic all round perfomace with the tigers goalie not having a shot to save.

Saturday 15th Oct 05  Rossendale Utd (a)

The tigers got back to winning ways after 2 defeats with a 5-0 win over rossendale with goals from Sam Jones, Thomas Braithwaite and a hat trick from James Kenny who had an outstanding game from left midfield
Saturday  8th Oct 05   Clitheroe Wolves Blue (a)
In a very dissapointing performace, gt harwood went 2 nil behind in the 1st half and 3 nil behnd at the start of the 2nd the tigers managed to pull a goal back through corey cook but clitheroe scored again to win the game 4-1.

Saturday  1st Oct 05    Barrowford celtic (h)

In very wet and windy conditions barrowford took the lead only for james kenny to equalise for gt harwood to make the score 1-1 at half time,in the 2nd half the tigers had a great chance to take the lead only for the barrowford goalie to make a good save,barrowford got there noses in front to go 2-1 up and for all gt harwood's hard work couldn't get an equaliser and barrowford scored a late 3rd to make the final score gt harwood 1-3 barrowford celtic.


Saturday  24 Sept 05   Huncoat utd aces (a)
In a very entertaining game corey cook scored two 1st half to give gt harwood a 2-0 lead at half time,the 2nd half was a much tighter affair and ben gorton in the gt harwood goal had to be on his toes to make a couple of excellent saves, but 2 fantastic goals from thomas braithwaite and james kenny secured a 4-0 win for the tigers with liam devlin getting the motm award from the ref.

Saturday 17 Sept 05   Rishton Utd (a)

The tigers started off strongly and took the lead twice with 2 goals from corey cook only for rishton to come back twice and level the scores before half time.
In the 2nd half the tigers stepped up a gear and ran in 6 unanswered goals from james kenny, thomas braithwaite, sam jones and corey cook who scored 3 more to bring his total in the game to a fantastic 5 goals,the final score being gt harwood rovers 8 rishton utd 2 in a very entertaining local derby.

In the opening game of the 2005-06 season the u9 tigers got off to a flying start beating St Joseph's 9-0,

The whole team put in a superb all round performace with goals from Thomas Braithwaite (3) Corey Cook (2) Sam Jones (2) and a goal apiece from James Kenny and Ethan Lofthouse, Sam Jones got the mom from the referee.
