Following a minute's silence, in remembrance of our Honorary President and Chairman Dave Smith, the under 10s Panthers paid tribute to him on the pitch with a truly superb display against Borrowdale in their own backyard. After early pressure from their opponents, Rovers stormed into a 3 goal lead by half time, with 2 brilliant individual goals from MOTM Darren Howarth and the coolest of finishes from Chris Walne. The second half saw no let up as substitute Jonathon Heap(2), Nathan Marsden and Gary Sowerbutts  made the score 7-0 to the now rampant Rovers. For good measure Rovers 'Keeper Ben Rea made a super penalty save to record an excellent clean sheet. In the words  of a famous honorary Arroder the Panthers certainly look like a "good set of lads".

A strong first half display laid the foundations for Ossy Juniors to take 3 points from the under 14s. Despite a good second half performance and a goal from Jason Sharples , Rovers were beaten 3-1.
