ROVERS WIN LEAGUE WITH A GAME TO SPARE.
Great Harwood Rovers Panthers were not letting anyone or anything stand in
their way from winning the league title. They were relentless against a
plucky Blue Star team. Harwood should have been at least 7 goals up at half
time but only managed 2 - 0 with goals from Bradley Allen and from top
scorer and captain Karl Sutton. In the 2nd half Blue Star created a few
chances, but it was always going to be Gt Harwood's day. 2 goals from the
wizard Arron Phillipson and another from sub Aaron Mcgahey, capped off a
good days football. Jack Hargreaves gave a gritty performance earning him
the Man of the Match.
