GHR kicked off against the league leaders and the 1st 15 mins were very even with GHR having the best chance when Joseph Starkie fired over from 12 yards. On the 17 min Fulledge took the lead when an hopeful cross was not dealt with by the GHR keeper and the centre forward headed home from 2 yards 0-1. 5 mins later Fulledge got a 2nd with a shot from the edge of the box 0-2. The 2nd half started and GHR looked like a different team putting CW under intense pressure and with 9 mins on the clock GHR got a third when Nick Widdop who was making his debut got on the end of a cross  3-5. GHR were playing well now but with 10 mins left disaster struck with what seemed like CW first attack of the half scored 3-6. GHR pushed forward now and with a min left James Kenny got a 2nd when he drilled a right foot shot into the roof of the net 5-6.
