2007 under 16s

This was to be the U16's last game in a Gt Harwood shirt, and they were determined to go out with a bang. Gt Harwood didn't disappoint against the league champions. It was end to end stuff . Whalley started the scoring in the first 10 mins with Gt Harwood replying straight away a goal by wing wonder Ste Molineux. Whalley went in front again with a scrappy goal 2-1 taking us to Half-Time.

Second Half Gt harwood stepped up a gear Jordan Allen again making it 2-2 and then taking the lead through midfield dynamo Jack Aldred 2-3 , Whalley then had Harwood on the back foot scoring 2 goals in quick time 1 a Penalty to swing the match in there favour again 4-3. Jordan Allen then claimed his Hat-Trick side footing the ball past the keeper 4-4 and again took the lead through a bizaar goal by Jamie Slater hitting a divot and bobbling over the keeper ( Tim Flowers style) 5-4, Just when Gt Harwood thought they had won it Whalley broke the offside trap and scored an equalliser 5-5 taking the game to a close.
