Rossendale Utd  v  Great Harwood Rovers
 
Unlucky Harwood lose at the Death..... Great Harwood never gave up against a very large Rossendale side, having gone 1-0 down through a wind assisted shot, Harwood recovered quickly with a goal from Jordan Allen. Rossendale scored again with a srappy goal and then Gt Harwood lost there keeper at half time, there was no subs so Harwood had to play the second half with 10 men. But you didnt notice the difference Gt Harwood took the game to Rossendale, 10 minutes in it payed off Brandan Demiane getting on the score sheet. From then on in Rossendale peppered the Gt Harwood goal. Great defending from everyone right up till the last 5 minutes, and Rossy scored with a deflected goal that knocked the stuffing out of Harwood and Rossy scored again. Gt Harwood dig in to earn semi-Final place.......Gt Harwood showed a lot of guts and determination to win this game against Barrowford Celtic by a tight margin. There were Man of the match performances all over the pitch and against a much srtonger opposition. The only goal of the game came from strong work down the middle by Jordan Allen and a cool finish by Ryan Duplesses. Great defending by Harwood so the game to a close. Final Score Great Harwood Rovers 1  Barrowford Celtic 0. Man of the Match Brandan Demaine

Blackburn Eagles  v   Great Harwood Rovers
 
Gt Harwood second half show wins 3 pts......These two teams were matched in every department, both had a game plan of hitting each other on the break and it was Harwood who broke the deadlock in the 1st half with a ball over the top and Jordan Allen latched onto it and fired low and hard. The game went a bit srcappy and then Blackburn Eagles scored on the break a very similar goal. The Second Half Gt Harwood were told to tighted up and thats just what they did everything the Eagles threw at them Harwood defended very well. Then just as the 1st goal Gt Harwood hit through Eagles on the break and Scored another from Man of the Match Jordan Allen. Harwood should have had more goals but for the goalkeeper. Final Score Blackburn Eagles 1  Great Harwood Rovers 2. Man of the Match Jordan Allen.

Great Harwood Rovers U15's   v   Whalley Jnrs U15's
 
Harwood were always on top against a plucky Whalley side, Gt Harwood took the lead with the best goal of the game through Jamie Slater just outside the box on the right slight jink and he smashed it in the top left hand corner Half time. The second half Harwood pressed Whalley all the way and eventually gave in with 20 minutes left on the clock Jordan Allen capitalised on a defensive error 2 -0 , Whalley then crumbled with Motm Luke Sutton at the heart of it all Jordan Allen getting his 2nd and a great individual goal from Brandan Demaine took the game to a close.

Spirited performance against top of the league......Gt Harwood didn't hide against top of the lge Lammack having more of the chances in the 1st half they still found themselves 3 -1 down at half time a goal from Jordan Allen for Harwood, The 2nd Half Gt Harwood made it 3-2 with a left foot shot from Jack Aldred, Lammack stepped up a gear and scored 2 goals 5 - 2 , more chances to Harwood gave them another goal Brandon Demaine rounding the Keeper 5 - 3, Lammack hit us on the break to score a 6th and put the game beyond Gt Harwood.Final Score Lammack Jnrs 6  Gt Harwood Rovers 3

5 Star Harwood to strong on the day.........Gt Harwood were far to strong for a very plucky Langho team, going 4 goals up before half time , the 1st was made by Alex Whalley with one of the best crosses of the season and finished off cooly by Arron Nevins, the 2nd was scored by Alex Whalley powering through 3 players and drilling the ball home , the 3rd a free kick scored by Nathan Marsden swerving in the bottom corner and the 4th was bundled in by Jordan Allen. The second half Harwood should have doubled there tally, but a mistake in the defence let in Langho for a conselation goal , then up stepped sub Luke chew to calmly place a left foot shot in the bottom corner.

Whalley Jnrs  v  Great Harwood Rovers  U15's
 
Harwood took on a side that was well matched to us in every department, In the first 20 mins Gt Harwood was well on top put had nothing to offer in the final third, both there centre backs mopping up well, Then Whalley put the pressure back on Harwood and managed to capitalise with a srambled goal 5 mins before half time. The second half Whalley were on top but Harwoods centre halfs Nathan Marsden and James Hargreaves(Bruiser) comfortably mopped up, In the last 20 mins Harwood stepped up a gear with Jack Aldred pulling all the strings in midfield a good ball to Brandon Demaine who had his legs took from under him as he was shooting(Penalty) Nathan Marsden placed his shot in the right hand bottom corner cool as you like. Harwood could have nicked it in the last 5 min but missed by a whisker.

Not at Races today for the U15's
No Talking, No Challenge's ,  No Team Spirit.
Harwood made Barrowford look like superstars in a lack luster effort if it wasn't Keeper Josh Shepard the scoreline would have been much worse. Celtic took the lead before a well drilled right foot shot by Arron Nevins levelled the score instead of pushing forward it had a reverse affect conceding 2 more goals and but for our keeper it could have been much worse. Bispam JFC  v  Gt Harwood Rovers 1st Rnd L.F.A Cup U15

Gt Harwood were the stronger team in the first half but couldnt make it pay with a hatful of chances, the second half we lost our right back and then the sub right back but soldiered on the blow for us was a nothing challenge in the from the left back, the ref gave a penalty and sent him off they then scored from the penalty and it was backs against the wall for the next 20 minites to the lads cedit they never gave up , Harwood threw causion to the and went 3-4-3 and it nearly payed off missing 3 glorious chances, right at the death Bispam killed us off scoring on the break. Final Score : Bispam JFC 2   Gt Harwood Rovers 0. Man of the Match : Bruiser

Great Harwood Rovers  v  Blackburn Eagles  U15's 

Harwood got back to winning ways with a grinding performance against the eagles they went 2 goals in front thanks to Ryan Dupleses and Tom Ford , the second half the eagles were on top and managed 2 goals back to make it 2 - 2 the last 10 minutes Harwood dug in and Chris Walne whizzed down the left hand side and scored the winner a good goal.
